Jerry John Rawlings has been known for his charisma as a military man who morphed into a civilian President of Ghana.

The former pilot is even known more for his series of coups, which intermittently catapulted him to power from 1979 to 2000. He has said on certain public platforms that he nursed a dream of becoming a priest at a point in his life, despite his childhood dream of becoming a pilot.

Despite being an imposing public figure, known in Ghana and outside, Mr Rawlings has, until now, managed to keep close to his chest, one passion of his – drawing.
